This June, our Agoda Pride Employee Resource Group brought Agodans together through sunset yoga, leadership coffee talks, a movie screening, volunteering, an educational talk, Zumba, and our annual Drag Bingo social night.

“My decision to join Agoda in Bangkok was driven by a long-standing desire, since my university days, to work with diverse international colleagues.

I chose Bangkok because of its vibrant culture, delicious and affordable food scene, and an incredibly friendly atmosphere that still feels like home. The city offered the prospect of a better quality of life, which was a big reason I decided to move here from Indonesia. This was my first experience relocating to a new city, let alone a new country.

My experience relocating to Bangkok for work was surprisingly smooth, largely thanks to Agoda’s comprehensive support. As this was my first international move, their assistance was invaluable. I initially relocated alone, and my wife joined me last year after we got married, also relocating to Bangkok to live with me.

What I enjoy most about living in Bangkok is its energy and variety. I love traveling, trying foods I haven’t had before, and discovering new places around Thailand. I’m also a recreational runner, and we recently ran the Pattaya Marathon, which was super fun. Enjoying the beach views after a run felt especially refreshing. Bangkok gives me the chance to combine an active lifestyle with easy access to food, travel, and new experiences.

Joining Agoda has improved my mindset a lot and helped me grow both professionally and personally in a very welcoming environment. I continue to learn, take on fulfilling work, and develop in ways I really value.”

"Being part of the Agoda Pride ERG committee means contributing to a culture of belonging where everyone can show up as themselves. I’m proud to play a small part in creating visibility, fostering understanding, and supporting a workplace where diversity is celebrated.

One memory that really stands out to me was our first social night last year. I had only recently joined Agoda, and I didn’t expect such a warm and open welcome. It gave me the chance to bond with colleagues on a deeper level and made me feel truly welcome and accepted. "Pride, to me, is all about community. It`s the feeling of being not just accepted, but truly welcomed, celebrated, and able to show up as your full, authentic self. That’s a big part of why I wanted to get involved with Agoda Pride: to help create more of those moments of connection and belonging for everyone in the workplace.

One of my favorite parts of being on the team has been meeting people from across Agoda, and I’m especially proud of all the events we`ve brought to life to bring the community together! This Pride Month, we`ve already hosted Pride sunset yoga, an educational talk with Koko Tiamsai (a Thai transgender rights advocate and the Co-President of InterPride), and a volunteering session with APCOM, and we`ve still got more to come."

Our Agoda Bangkok office is feeling extra blessed ✨

After over two months in our new One Bangkok office, we were grateful to hold a traditional monk blessing ceremony this week. In Thailand, this is a meaningful tradition often held to bless a new home or workplace, welcome positive energy, and mark a new beginning. For us, it was also a special moment to celebrate the space we now call home.

AgodaFest continues in Seoul! 🎉

Our Agodans took a trip back in time for an 80s–90s Rewind-themed celebration, embracing the era with retro style, friendly competition, and plenty of nostalgia. It was the perfect way to celebrate another year of amazing teamwork and shared accomplishments.
