Tech IC Foundations is a structured program designed to support engineers as they grow from early-career roles into more senior technical positions. The program centers on career enablement, empowering ICs to take ownership of their growth and impact, needed to progress sustainably in their careers at Agoda.

Great technology needs great leadership. As our teams scale, so does our investment in developing Tech managers and leaders. Our Tech Learning Program is designed specifically for engineering managers, helping them succeed in roles that balance technical credibility, people leadership, and delivery.
Complementing this, our Leadership Moments create space for reflection and shared learning among Tech leaders. These are short discussion focused sessions, grounded in real leadership experiences, to help with real challenges Tech managers face — such as career conversations, performance management, wellbeing, and building trust within their teams.

AI is transforming the way software is built—and we’re investing in making sure our Tech teams are ready. Our focus is clear: moving from broad AI experimentation to trusted, scalable AI in production.
Through a combination of formal certifications, interactive learning webinars, hands-on application, and access to learning platforms like Udemy, O’Reilly, and LinkedIn Learning, our Tech teams are building the capability to confidently embed AI into engineering workflows, securely, responsibly, and at scale.

Dev Day: Community, collaboration, and celebration
At Agoda, learning doesn’t only happen in structured programs. It also happens when our Tech community comes together to share, challenge, and inspire one another. Dev Day, our annual flagship Tech event, is a powerful expression of that culture.
In 2025, Dev Day brought engineers together across Bangkok, India, and Singapore for a day dedicated to learning in action. From AI in production and platform reliability to testing strategies and developer tools, engineers shared lessons drawn directly from building at scale. Lightning talks and interactive debates created space to explore different approaches, while leadership Q&As and career panels encouraged honest conversations about growth, impact, and navigating complexity.
More than an event, Dev Day reinforces what makes Agoda’s Tech culture strong: curiosity, collaboration, and a shared commitment to continuous learning.
