The Opportunity: 

As a Senior Manager; Finance Innovation and Systems, you will join our expanding team and use your skills and experience to design, implement and manage the systems and processes for Finance functions. You will work as a subject matter expert with IT, Product, Legal, Partner Services, Customer Experience Group, Marketing, and others. We are looking for someone who is talented and focused on results. 

You are expected to have strong presence and provide your point of view clearly as an SME and convincingly to other stakeholders. You must be comfortable working independently, dealing with ambiguity, be organized and possess effective interpersonal skills to successfully partner with the cross functional teams. Your ability to influence, communicate and drive change and value to the business will be critical. 

In this Role, you’ll get:  

  • To join and guide new business conversation from a tech/process viewpoint representing finance users as an expert 
  • To design Finance tech solution that responds to upstream system changes 
  • To perform and assist testing of the full solution affecting finance systems 
  • To assist and resolve problems that affect business operations and identify ways to decrease them 
  • To evaluate and enhance finance systems and processes for different finance functions (specially GL and Tax) 
  • To evaluate the impact of any changes made upstream on various finance systems/reports, record and collaborate with Tech/business to ensure a smooth implementation  
  • Facilitates communication between business and tech for resolving issues: examines, analyzes, and fixes software/tech problems  
  • Learn about accounting and tax in the travel domain 
  • To help with the setup and maintenance of financial systems that improve the business functions and results, while keeping a high level of satisfaction 

What you’ll Need to Succeed: 

  • Over 10 years of experience in managing projects or operations related to finance systems (specially ERP systems) in tech industry, e-commerce for strategy initiatives, finance operations, business analyst with a proven record of delivering transformational initiatives with successful execution. 
  • Extensive knowledge on working in GL/accounting module of finance.  
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience and ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or other university degree specialization accompanied with professional accounting qualification.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, multicultural, and high intensity environment.
  • Comfortable working with uncertainty and experimentation in a high-velocity environment
  • Ability to work on projects and initiatives with Product team, Tech Team and business.
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical and problem solving, influencing and change management skills. Ability to think out of the box and make judgement calls.
  • Attention to details, self-motivating with continuous improvement mindset. High learning agility. Ability to ask the right questions to ensure speed and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and planning skills with solid interpersonal skills
  • High level of dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. Strong business acumen.  

It’s Great if you have:   

  • Experience working in finance cross-functions (Tax, Finance operations, treasury, FP&A, etc.)  
  • Experience in project management using various methodologies (e.g. Agile, SDLC) 
  • Experience working in data analytics 
  • Experience working with Oracle fusion ERP 
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tool
