It’s the end of the year, and we’re closing out on a high with a month full of warm memories, celebrations, and community spirit. Read on to see how we enjoyed December at Agoda.
Coming together at Agoda Connect
The holiday season is the perfect time to come together, and we did just that at our final town hall of the year, aptly named Agoda Connect. Our CEO Omri kicked off the session with his 2023 highlights, along with a panel of our senior leaders, who delved into their key learnings and proud moments of the year, along with their hopes for the future. In Bangkok, we also had a huge array of interactive booths from teams across Customer Experience Group, Communications, Compliance, Learning & DEI, Recruitment, and Workplace Experience. This was a fun, hands-on way for Agodans to learn more about the initiatives and vital work of their peers!
Welcoming guests from Columbia Business School
We hosted the brilliant MBA class from Columbia Business School at the Agoda Bangkok offices for an afternoon of knowledge-sharing and new connections. Special thanks must go to Metin Mahasiri, an Agodan and CBS graduate from our Supply team, who gave an alumni talk, and to Associate Director of Flights, Shachi Madhogaria, who shared valuable insights into Marketing at Agoda. We’re excited for more collaborations to come!
Supporting biodiversity
Agodans from the Phuket office joined forces with the Love Wildlife Foundation to support biodiversity preservation by building bird nest boxes for parakeets! Agoda is committed to responsible business practices and environmental conservation, and this volunteering day was a true testament to that.
Getting festive in Budapest
Our Budapest Agodans had a great time welcoming the festive season with delicious office breakfasts featuring bejgli, a traditional Hungarian Christmas dessert, and a visit from office Santa. Of course, the Agoda Social was also an unforgettable highlight!
