Flexible Work from Home: Productivity on Your Terms 

The other three days? They’re yours to work from the comfort of your home. To help employees create an ideal work-from-home setup, Agoda provides a one-time Work from Home Allowance. This support ensures Agodans have a comfortable and productive environment, whether it’s for deep-focus tasks or team check-ins. 

This flexibility allows employees to personalize their schedules, minimize commutes, and maintain the work-life balance needed to stay motivated and efficient. “Our hybrid model has done wonders for my stress and work-life balance,” shares Yurika Morita (Senior Product Manager). “My son goes to bed at seven. When I work from home, I can log off and be with him immediately instead of wasting time on my commute or getting home when he’s already asleep. That quality time is precious, especially when your child is very young.” 

Balancing Efficiency and Well-being

To support our shift-based Customer Experience Group (CEG) agents, we’ve introduced a hybrid work model that strikes a balance between operational efficiency and employee well-being. Under this system, many of our agents work from the office for one week every two months, providing a structured yet flexible arrangement.  

This approach ensures uninterrupted service coverage for our customers while allowing our agents to maintain a healthy work-life balance, reflecting our commitment to fostering a supportive and adaptable work environment. 

Fully Remote Roles at Agoda: Opportunities for Global Professionals 

Flexibility at Agoda isn’t one-size-fits-all. In some locations, fully remote positions are available. This setup is tailored for specific roles where employees work entirely from home, staying connected through digital collaboration tools and regular virtual check-ins.

Agoda’s Remote Work Program: Work from Anywhere 

For greater flexibility, Agoda’s Remote Work Program enables our full-time employees to work from anywhere in the world for up to 30 calendar days each year. Initially launched as a way to help employees reunite with family during the pandemic, the program has evolved into a beloved benefit that empowers Agodans to travel, connect, and work flexibly. 

This initiative not only allows employees to explore new destinations but also reinforces our values of trust and accountability. As Victoria Chan (Global Mobility Specialist) explains, “We respect that employees have personal obligations, and this is Agoda’s way of meeting that need.”
