Celebrating Lunar New Year
In February, we welcomed the Year of the Dragon across our offices! In Seoul, we savored rice cakes and shared well wishes to honor the Lunar New Year. Agoda Shanghai enjoyed lunch and lucky red envelopes, while Agoda Malaysia marked the occasion with yee sang and festive games. Bangkok Agodans celebrated with dim sum and fluffy steamed buns, and in Singapore, we couldn’t miss out on the tradition of tossing lohei.
Representing Agoda in sports
A team of over 30 Agodans competed in a Bangkok Cricket League tournament and ranked at the top of the league! Congratulations to the Agoda Blues team, who played 8 games and secured a Man of the Match title for each game.
Making a positive impact
Volunteers from the Agoda Kuala Lumpur team came together with the goal of shaping a greener, more sustainable future. This included taking part in a gardening workshop, biodiversity walks, and climate and sustainable solutions talks at Taman Tugu forest park.
Connecting with our fantastic interns
We hosted a networking event to bring together 67 Agoda interns from the 2022 and 2023 batches and over 20 engineers, recruiters, and managers from various teams across the company. Our interns had the chance to network, ask questions, and step out of their current scope to explore opportunities across Agoda.
Celebrating our partners
The Agoda Phuket team hopped aboard a catamaran for an Appreciation Night event to celebrate the successes of 2023 with our partners in Southern Thailand. It was the perfect way to bring everyone together and toast to our wins!
Upskilling as a team
The Agoda Legal team, which comprises 23 nationalities, came together for a Cultural Intelligence workshop. Throughout the workshop, we explored strategies for working together effectively and bridging our cultural differences.
