This month, we proudly presented Leo’s Magical Travel Adventures—a heartwarming tale brought to life with the power of AI and the collaboration of our Marketing, Legal, and Translation teams. This story celebrates the joy of the season and our purpose, Bridging the World Through Travel.
Coming together to reflect and look ahead
As the year draws to a close, it’s the perfect time to recognize our milestones, refocus on our priorities, and set the stage for an even better year ahead. Our Rocket Travel by Agoda and Customer Experience Group teams hosted summits to do just that. These events combined insightful business updates, engaging career development talks, and impactful volunteer activities, fostering connection and growth across the teams.
Celebrating recruitment excellence in South Korea
Our South Korea team was honored with the prestigious Fast Track Recruitment Excellence Award by Job Korea! This recognition highlights companies that excel in identifying and onboarding top talent with speed and efficiency. It’s a testament to our streamlined hiring processes and agility in meeting urgent recruitment needs, ensuring we continue to attract exceptional talent to Agoda.
Scoring goals and building bonds
Our second Agoda 5-a-side football event was a fantastic showcase of teamwork, skill, and determination. Different departments came together to form teams, compete, and, most importantly, make new friends along the way. Cheers to all the players for making it an exciting day!
Wrapping up the year in style
No festive season is complete without celebrations, and we made sure to close out the year in true Agoda fashion. Across our global offices— including China, Hungary, Thailand, Barcelona, Singapore—teams came together to enjoy fun-filled year-end parties.
Volunteering in local communities
Our Agoda Shanghai team had the honor of joining the Shanghai Marathon volunteer program, marking a historic moment for the event. This year’s Marathon set a new record with 38,000 participants, making it the largest in its history. We’re especially proud to be the first and only company to join as a volunteer organization—an opportunity previously reserved for event sponsors.
In Barcelona, we teamed up with Soñar Despierto for a meaningful CSR activity. This organization supports minors in shelters, helping them transition to independence while promoting social participation. Together, we gave back by painting their entire space, making it more vibrant and welcoming for the children they serve. It was a rewarding day, leaving us inspired by their mission and the difference we could help make.
In Bangkok, we partnered with BCHF to help complete the final touches for the Center of Dreams in the Klong Toey Community. Our PSI members came together to paint, clean, and move, ensuring the space was ready for its grand opening. Our team also had the privilege of partnering with Scholars of Sustenance (SOS) Thailand, an organization dedicated to preparing hot meals for underprivileged communities using rescued food. At the Rescue Kitchen, we prepared and served hot, nutritious meals to communities at Wat Sai, Nonthaburi.
