In April, we splashed into the festive spirit of Songkran, unveiled our sparkling new office space, and even hosted a fashion show.
Welcoming the Thai New Year
April isn’t just the hottest month of the year in Thailand. It also marks Songkran, the vibrant Thai New Year festival. We celebrated with a mini temple fair featuring traditional Thai treats and games, a water-blessing ceremony with our leadership team, and even a costume contest! This event was hosted by THrive, Agoda’s Employee Resource Group for supporting Thai Agodans and promoting cross-cultural understanding.
Hosting our own Agoda fashion show
Along with the New Year festivities, there was another new start: the launch of our Agoda Swag Store pop-up. Our benefits and rewards program allows employees to redeem exclusive Agoda merch like sleek luggage, cozy blankets, and even summery Agoji elephant pants. To celebrate, we rolled out the red carpet and hosted a fashion show featuring the latest collection, modeled by Agodans from across the company.
Organizing Partner Events in the Oceania
Our Supply teams in the Oceania hosted partner events to give updates, thank and recognize our accommodation partners for their accomplishments. We also gave out the Agoda Gold Circle Awards to our winning partners!
Celebrating the opening of our new office space
We officially opened our new office space in the heart of Bangkok! With quiet corners designed for deep focus, high-tech meeting rooms, a flexible event space, and an inviting pantry, it’s got everything we need to build travel for the world. We held an opening event with a traditional monk blessing ceremony to anoint the space.
Enjoying AgodaFest worldwide
The AgodaFest celebrations continue, with each of our global offices hosting their own take on our annual staff party. Live performances, face painting, carnival games, costume contests, and lucky draws kept Agodans entertained as we toasted to our hard work and collective achievements.

Getting Recognized by the Inspiring Women in Travel (Asia) Awards 2024
Jeff Lee, SVP of the Customer Experience Group at Agoda, was recognized as ‘Male Champion of Change’ by Inspiring Women in Travel (Asia) Awards 2024. Patcharamai Tatiyavattanachai, Director of Product, was also a finalist in the ‘Forward Thinking Innovator’ category.
