Amidst our busy calendars, there’s one event that everyone at Agoda looks forward to: AgodaFest. Much more than just a staff party, AgodaFest is a celebration of our diverse culture, shared accomplishments, and unwavering teamwork. Each of our global offices comes alive with excitement as Agodans make memories and toast to the milestones of the past year.
This year’s theme was Carnival Night, so read on to see how each of our teams made it their own!
Malaysia
This year’s AgodaFest season started with a bang in Kuala Lumpur, where Agodans enjoyed carnival acts like fire eaters, stilt walkers, clowns, and jugglers, along with a glambot, glow-in-the-dark face painting, and performances by local artists and DJs. For anyone with a competitive streak, there were also games like coconut bowling, gel blasters, a dunking machine, and a ring toss.
Thailand
Ever dreamed of winning a fund for the trip of your dreams? We made it a reality at AgodaFest Bangkok, along with circus acts, karaoke battles, fun games, and appearances from Thai stars like UrboyTJ and Matthew Deane. The showstopping donut wall was a crowd favorite, along with the ever-popular silent disco. After all that dancing, the massage therapy zone was the perfect way to re-energize.
India
Agoda Gurgaon took the carnival outdoors with a colorful celebration at Jain Farms, with members of our leadership team joining in the fun. Along with performances from carnival artists and dancers, there were plenty of activities to keep the fun going, including a ring toss, Nerf guns, human foosball, face painting, surfboards, and a 360° photo booth. Our brand ambassador Ayushmann Khurrana even made a surprise video appearance to toast to the team!
Japan
In Tokyo, Agodans came together to revel in the fun of Carnival Night, which included a costume contest, a prize giveaway with coveted iPads, and lots of dancing!
Seoul
Whether we’re building travel for the world or competing for the title of best dressed, Agodans never back down from a challenge. AgodaFest Seoul had a lineup featuring live jazz and dance performances, team games, magic shows, and a lucky draw where winners went home with spa vouchers, hotel stays, and complimentary gourmet meals.
China
Our Shanghai team was treated to an evening of carnival-themed celebrations, including a prize draw and musical performances featuring our very own Agodans on guitar, violin, and vocals. There was even a bit of friendly competition with scavenger hunts, games, and singing contests.
Singapore
The Singapore edition of AgodaFest was a glittering affair. Dancers, magicians, and jugglers took to the stage, and amazing prizes awaited their lucky winners, including the grand prize of an iPhone 15 Pro. Agodans showed off their creativity as they competed for the title of best dressed in a costume contest.
Indonesia
Agodans in Indonesia fully embraced the spirit of Carnival Night! AgodaFest Indonesia included games, vibrant performances, and plenty of prizes and recognition for our hardworking team members.
Hungary
The Budapest team dressed to the nines for the AgodaFest celebrations, enjoying an evening of karaoke, air hockey, face painting, caricature drawing, carnival games, and an LED light show.
The Philippines
This year’s AgodaFest was held at an amusement park, and the carnival theme made it a blast! We split into teams and spent the day enjoying games, rides, and all the fun the park had to offer. The prizes were pretty awesome too—everything from speakers and cameras to airline vouchers. After the games, we wrapped up the day with dinner, more raffles, dance performances, and an epic fireworks show.
