Agoda Pride 2026: Honoring Community and Connection

At Agoda, we believe everyone should feel empowered to bring their authentic selves to work. Pride Month is an opportunity to celebrate our LGBTQIA+ colleagues and allies, reflect on the progress we’ve made, and continue building a workplace where everyone feels they belong. 

That commitment extends far beyond June. Throughout the year, our Agoda Pride Employee Resource Group (ERG), part of Agoda’s Inclusion Council, helps foster awareness, community, outreach, safe spaces, and intersectional inclusion across the company.  

As an employee-led volunteer group, Agoda Pride’s advocacy has helped shape meaningful improvements to the employee experience, including gender-neutral office bathrooms, more inclusive relocation and visa support for same-sex couples, parental leave policies that include adoption and surrogacy, and the ability to use Agoda Choice (a flexible benefits program) for preventative healthcare and treatments not covered by medical insurance, including gender-affirming care. 

This June, the Agoda Pride ERG brought Agodans together once again through a series of events focused on wellbeing, learning, volunteering, and community. Here’s a look back at how we celebrated Pride Month 2026. 

Agoda Pride Volunteering and Educational Talk 

One of the month’s most meaningful events combined learning with community impact. Agodans attended an educational session led by Thai transgender rights advocate and InterPride Co-President Koko Tiamsai, who shared insights into the ongoing progress and challenges surrounding transgender rights. Employees also partnered with APCOM for a volunteering initiative, helping support the organization’s community work. Together, these activities created opportunities to learn, contribute, and deepen our understanding of the communities we support. 

Coffee Talks with Agoda Leadership 

Anne Lebescond, Senior Director of Legal, and Agoda Pride ERG Co-Lead Bram Houterman, Director of Marketing, hosted a series of coffee talks in Bangkok. These informal conversations gave Agodans the opportunity to share perspectives, ask questions, seek advice, and discuss the future of Agoda Pride in an open and welcoming setting. The sessions encouraged meaningful dialogue between employees and leaders while reinforcing our shared commitment to inclusion. 

Agoda Pride Movie Screening 

Agodans came together for a special screening of Twinless (2025), enjoying an evening of great food, drinks, and conversation. The film’s thoughtful exploration of identity, grief, and human connection sparked meaningful discussions long after the credits rolled. By celebrating queer storytelling and creating shared cultural experiences, the event highlighted the power of representation and empathy. 

Sunset Yoga 

We enjoyed a peaceful sunset yoga session led by our very own Agodan and yoga instructor, Chew Meng Tham. Against the backdrop of the evening skyline, colleagues took time to pause, recharge, and reflect together. The session was a reminder that wellbeing is an important part of fostering an inclusive workplace, creating space for mindfulness and connection as Pride Month began. 

Move with Pride Zumba 

Agodans brought plenty of energy to our Move with Pride Zumba session, dancing, exercising, and celebrating together. The high-energy class encouraged colleagues of all fitness levels to join in, have fun, and connect with one another. It was another reminder that building community can be as simple as moving together and sharing a few laughs. 

Drag Bingo Social Night

We wrapped up Pride Month with an evening of laughter, entertainment, and celebration at our annual Drag Bingo social night. Hosted by local drag queen Gisele Rafael and featuring performances from Srirasha and Cherilyn Stranger, the event brought colleagues together to connect, make new friends, and celebrate the incredible Pride community at Agoda. As the month came to a close, it was the perfect opportunity to reflect on everything we had shared and look ahead to continuing our commitment to inclusion throughout the year. 

Reflecting on Pride Month 2026 

While Pride Month may have come to an end, our commitment to creating an inclusive workplace continues year-round. Through events like these, and through the ongoing efforts of the Agoda Pride ERG, we’re proud to foster a culture where everyone can feel supported, valued, and empowered to be themselves.
