Position Overview: 

Join AGODA’s creative and efficient Design & Development team as an Assistant Manager to support employee development through the design, implementation, and enhancement of learning solutions that will address the organization’s training needs. 

This position is not just about managing projects and people, it is also about leading initiatives that enhance learning experiences and drive better efficiency across the team.  

Here’s what’s in it for you: 

  • Leadership Impact: Be a key figure in the D&D team, bridging the gap between the D&D Manager and Learning designers to ensure projects run smoothly and meet design requirements. 
  • People Management: Develop and mentor team members & secondees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Provide guidance and support to ensure the team achieves its full potential. 
  • Efficiency Projects: Lead and execute efficiency projects that benefit the entire D&D team 
  • Quality Champion: Advocate for quality in all design and development processes, ensuring that all outputs meet AGODA’s high standards and D&D’s Quality promise.  
  • Visual Design Sense: Utilize your visual design skills to enhance the aesthetic and functional quality of learning materials. 
  • Process Enhancement: Work closely with the D&D Manager to enhance processes and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring optimal team performance and stakeholder satisfaction. 

Success in the role will be measured by the KPIs identified and agreed.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support the creation of effective learning materials and the successful execution of instructional design projects. 
  • Collaborate with the D&D Manager and learning designers to ensure alignment with project goals and design requirements. 
  • Champion quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in all learning materials. 
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to timelines. 
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in instructional design, visual design, and e-learning technologies. 
  • Be a data champion on learner sentiments and learning experiences of D&D’s learning materials.  
  • Manage and develop team members, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations. 
  • Collaborate with the D&D Manager to refine and improve team processes and SLAs. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Visual Design, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in instructional design and team management. 
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and good understanding of visual design techniques. 
  • Good understanding of the Project Life Cycle in Talent Development 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Fluency in English with mastery in grammar and excellent written and verbal communication skills are mandatory.  
  • Have a data-driven and scientific approach to decision making and problem-solving 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience in the travel or hospitality industry. 
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools. 
  • Experience with multimedia tools. 
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
