Get to Know Our Team:
The Design team is a diverse group of product designers and researchers that help to build Agoda’s products from our home office in Bangkok. There is always an opportunity for growth here. Focus on your craft to improve or expand your skill set, or step into a managerial role and flex your talents by driving team projects. The opportunity is here if you want to join a team that’s small enough to be scrappy and hands on, yet big enough to influence change and product strategy. Be a part of Agoda’s Design team and unlock the world for our global community of hotels and travelers.
Role in FE Accommodation Team:
The team works across Agoda’s shared customer experience platform, helping evolve and migrate experiences that are used across multiple products and platforms. As a Product Designer, you’ll play a key role in moving existing experiences onto our new platform while ensuring we maintain a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
A big part of the role is understanding what exists today across different platforms, identifying feature parity and UX gaps, and making thoughtful decisions about what should be migrated, adapted, simplified, or left behind. You’ll need to balance customer needs, platform capabilities, and business priorities while paying close attention to the details that make an experience work well at scale.
Experience Requirements & Role Expectations:
- 5 years of full-time experience as a Product Designer for digital or web-based products; in-house experience highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of UX and UI fundamentals, with the ability to spot inconsistencies and gaps across different platforms and experiences.
- Experience working with complex products, systems, or platform-level experiences, and the ability to understand feature parity across different implementations.
- Strong design judgment and product thinking — able to make clear calls on what should be migrated, adapted, simplified, or redesigned rather than treating migration as a one-to-one copy.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working across multiple teams and stakeholders to align on migration decisions.
- Ability to balance consistency and scalability with the needs of different products, platforms, and customer contexts.
- Clear communication skills to explain design decisions, trade‑offs, and rationale
- A strong portfolio of work that demonstrates your design thinking, process, and solutions showcasing beautiful, user-centered web and mobile product design.
What you can expect day to day:
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers and other partners to align on scope, requirements, priorities, and delivery timelines.
- Design end‑to‑end product experiences, from early exploration to high‑fidelity designs.
- Test ideas, prototypes, and hypotheses with users to gather actionable feedback and iterate on solutions.
- Present and share your work with peers and stakeholders, both asynchronously and in person.
- Continuously improve your craft through feedback, iteration, and learning.
