Agoda’s Technical Product Management (TPM) organization drives internal platforms and tools that enable thousands of engineers to build and operate world-class products efficiently and reliably. Our TPMs play a key role in bridging business, data, and technology—translating complex needs into scalable solutions that empower teams across the company.
The Data team plays a critical role at Agoda in supporting the tooling that enables our business users, product managers, engineers and the rest of the business to make data-driven decisions. The Data and Analytics Excellence Area encompasses the full data lifecycle, from ETLs and data engineering, to building queries, to analytics and visualisation.
The Opportunity
Agoda is rapidly accelerating its AI transformation and making AI a core enabler for every team. Our ambition is to tightly integrate our data and AI initiatives so that working with data is simpler, more efficient, and produces highly accurate, trustworthy outputs.
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to shape how AI-powered data capabilities are ideated, developed, and rolled out across Agoda. The initial focus area is automated data analysis – spanning table discovery, metadata and semantic layers, assisted query generation, and ultimately the visualization or SQL outputs. You will be responsible for evolving these capabilities end‑to‑end: defining the vision, aligning stakeholders, and partnering with dedicated platform teams to deliver them at scale.
This is a high‑impact role in a fast‑moving space, operating in one of Agoda’s most mature and strategically important areas: Data. You will drive AI innovation in our data ecosystem and ensure users can easily access trusted, accurate, and meaningful data through AI, to unlock better decisions and real business impact.
In This Role, You’ll Get to
- Own the full product lifecycle – from concept to design, specification, implementation, and analysis
- Define the vision and product roadmap – understanding pain points and opportunities and working across stakeholders at all levels to align on direction and devise a roadmap that ultimately empowers our data users through AI
- Partner with stakeholders to understand and synthesize requirements to identify pain points and prioritise the most impactful work
- Measure and make data-driven decisions – define key metrics to ensure initiatives are being measured for impact and track to ensure they are making impact
- Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and execution skills, to drive product initiatives from concept to launch, and operate in a fast- paced setting
- Excellent leadership and communication skills. Expected to be asking questions, listening, driving team alignment, and influencing without authority across all levels of the organization.
- Technical confidence. You’ll need to work closely with engineering teams to make sure initiatives are commonly understood and balance product velocity and technical debt tradeoffs
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- +3 years technical product or program management experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of data platforms and tooling (ETL, SQL, BI tooling), metadata management and data quality frameworks.
- Strong understanding of AI capabilities, tooling and industry trends.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, energetic and a self-starter.
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills. Able to communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong organizational skills along with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business need
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills. You use data to make decisions and are comfortable gathering it yourself or working with others to gather it.
- Hands-on experience with product management tools (JIRA etc)
- A problem-solving mindset and an eagerness and willingness to “figure things out”.
