The Opportunity:

Software Engineer in BI Team is a part of data team who developing data and BI solutions for analytic propose, we are working with product manager and business users to make sure our data and solutions are meet the business analytic requirements. We also need to work closely with engineer team who develop products/application in Agoda to make sure all importance data are tracked and logged properly with quality.

In this Role, you’ll get to: 

• Develop, maintain, and optimize several visualization tools (e.g., Grafana, Superset, Metabase, etc.), including implementing new features, troubleshooting, and resolving
  production incidents.
• Design, enhance, and maintain additional internal tools to improve the user experience in the data domain, leveraging AI technologies where appropriate
• Manage incidents, perform daily operational tasks, and conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting in both production and development environments, including providing occasional after-hours support as needed.
• Lead and deliver end-to-end implementation projects, collaborating effectively with multiple teams and departments.

What you’ll Need to Succeed:

• At least 5 years of experience of extensive background in front-end development, working with client-side frameworks on large-scale applications (React is highly preferred).
• Strong core front-end skill set in JavaScript and the TypeScript ecosystem. 
• Strong core back-end skill set in Python and Go • Strong architecture skills and drive decision-making in the team.
• Experience working with component libraries.
• Strong product sense and a passion for client-side performance optimization.
• Love collaborating via code reviews and architecture discussions and is motivated to improve their teammates’ productivity.
• Great communication and coordination skills
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• You have a good command of the English language

It’s Great if you have:

• Candidates Python and Go would be preferred
• Knowledge in physical architecture at scale, building resilient, no single point of failures, highly available solutions.
• Knowledge in one or more of the following: SQL technologies (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL, etc.) and NoSQL technologies (Cassandra, Scylla DB, Elasticsearch, Redis, DynamoDB, etc.). 
• Machine Learning, GPT, prompt engineering and other AI project experience is a plus
• Working Experience with Containers and Dockerization, also K8S is a plus
• Knowledge and hands on experience in CI/CD solutions would be a plus
• Have experience in a data driven company with experience analyzing and working with Big Data
