
International Women’s Day 2026 was a fantastic opportunity to reflect on how we support and uplift women, champion progress, and move towards equality together.
This year’s theme was Give to Gain, a powerful reminder that small actions can make a big difference. By mentoring, supporting, and learning from one another, we can build stronger teams, spark new ideas, and create a more inclusive workplace for all.
That’s why we decided to bring the 2026 theme to life through a series of initiatives focused on giving, learning, and growing together. These were hosted by the Women@Agoda Employee Resource Group (ERG), an employee-led voluntary community that brings Agodans together to foster a more diverse and inclusive workplace. ERGs are open to all employees who are passionate about creating a more equitable Agoda.
Here’s how we celebrated International Women’s Day 2026.
Giving knowledge, gaining empowerment
We kicked off our celebrations with a Financial Wellbeing session titled “Thumb Rules of Money,” led by Neha Singh, Certified Financial Planner and founder of Womoneysta, a personal finance platform curated specifically for women, with a mission to provide trustworthy financial education and practical tools to become confident in making financial decisions.
This practical, beginner-friendly session covered simple and effective approaches to budgeting, saving, and investing. Participants walked away with easy “thumb rules” they could apply immediately, regardless of their level of financial experience.
By building strong financial foundations, we empower ourselves to make confident decisions and support others in doing the same. It was a great way to embrace the “Give to Gain” spirit while taking control of our financial wellbeing.

Giving back, gaining community
Agodans laced up their running shoes for the Agoda Charity Run, hosted at One Bangkok and taking participants through Lumphini Park. Runners could choose between a 5km or 10km route, coming together for a shared cause.
Every kilometer contributed to raising donations for the Association for the Promotion of Women’s Status, supporting essential services such as emergency shelter, psychological and employment support, and legal assistance for women and children across Thailand. Together, we raised THB 112,500 for the cause.
The event was a meaningful reminder that when we come together as a community, even small actions can create a lasting impact – like each step in a run.
Giving wisdom, gaining inspiration
In the spirit of “Give to Gain”, we hosted a panel discussion featuring Agoda leaders Sue May Wong (Director, Data Privacy), Nitya Guruvayurappan (Principal Product Manager), and Gauri Vicknasvaran (Senior Director, Customer Service Delivery), facilitated by Anja Levak (Associate Vice President, Key Accounts).
During the session, the panelists shared personal stories about their career journeys, the challenges they’ve faced, and the support systems that have helped them grow. They also spoke about the importance of paying it forward by mentoring others, creating visibility, and fostering inclusive environments.
Attendees walked away with practical insights and fresh perspectives, along with the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the speakers.

Giving advice, gaining confidence
In honor of International Women’s Day 2026, we wanted to spotlight women who are making a true impact at Agoda and helping to drive the company forward. We invited six inspiring leaders to share their perspectives on building confidence in themselves and their teams.
