At Agoda, we believe you shouldn’t have to leave your authentic self at the office door. That’s why Pride Month means so much to us: it’s our chance to celebrate, reflect, and show support for our LGBTQIA+ colleagues and allies. This year was particularly special for our Thailand team, where our biggest office is located, as the country celebrated its first Pride since passing marriage equality bill back in January – a huge milestone! Our amazing Agoda Pride ERG (that’s our employee-led group for LGBTQIA+ employees and allies) marked the occasion with events across our global offices. While we’ve made progress, we recognize that fostering inclusion is an ongoing journey and this incredible team of volunteers keeps pushing forward with community building, advocacy, and education all year round.

Post-Parade Socials & Drag Bingo
The month began in style as Agodans gathered at Hyde & Seek Silom Edge for an evening of cocktails, laughter, and drag bingo following Bangkok’s vibrant Pride parade. With drag queens Gisele Rafael and Meannie Minaj emceeing, the event was a joyful opportunity for colleagues, friends, and family to connect and celebrate the spirit of Pride together.
Budapest’s Agoda Pride Quiz Night
Our Hungary office put their knowledge to the test during a special Pride-themed quiz night hosted by drag queen Bonnie Andrews. Teams tackled questions spanning LGBTQIA+ history, pop culture, and health, blending education with friendly competition.
Coffee Talks with Agoda Pride Leaders
Agoda Pride ERG executive sponsors Pitichoke Chulapamornsri (Senior Director of Marketing) and Tim Hughes (Vice President of Corporate Development) hosted coffee talk sessions in Bangkok, creating a welcoming space for Agodans to share perspectives, seek advice, and discuss Agoda Pride’s leadership and vision for the future.
Advocacy in Action: Educational Talk & Volunteering
We wrapped up Pride Month 2025 with two meaningful events that put our values into action. First up was our hybrid talk ‘Beyond Binary’ featuring Nachale Boonyapisomparn from the Foundation of Transgender Alliance for Human Rights, who took us through the past, present and future of transgender rights in Thailand.
Next, we rolled up our sleeves to pack donation kits for a Pride Youth event, because at Agoda, we believe real change happens when education meets action. These events underscored Pride’s dual focus: deepening understanding of LGBTQIA+ issues while taking tangible steps to support our community.
More Than Just a Month
While June has ended, our commitment to inclusion continues year-round. This year’s celebrations in Thailand, following the country’s progress toward marriage equality reminded us how far we’ve come and the importance of continuing to grow together.
