Get to Know our Team: 

Our Fintech and Payments team is at the forefront of building innovative financial products and solutions that support Agoda’s global travel business. We work closely with partners and internal stakeholders to deliver seamless payment experiences and drive commercial growth across multiple markets.

The Opportunity: 

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Fintech Commercial, to join our team in Bangkok. This is a commercially focused role with high visibility to senior leadership, responsible for managing relationships with global Payment and FinTech partners and contributing to the development and execution of B2C and B2B products, with a strong focus on foreign exchange (FX) and cross-border payments. You will have the chance to work on complex financial products in a fast-moving, international environment and influence decisions that directly impact Agoda’s growth.

In this Role, you’ll get to: 

• Manage partner relationships, negotiate commercials and contracts, and lead projects/programs involving various stakeholders
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to develop and test FX pricing and risk management systems
• Analyze and optimize FX risk management approaches, pricing strategies, and support onboarding of new currency corridors
• Monitor FX exposures and ensure alignment with company risk policies
• Define and implement workflows, policies, and procedures with a focus on automation and scalability
• Contribute to operations including reconciliation, post-trade analysis, and reporting
• Stay informed on market trends, liquidity, and volatility to inform business decisions
• Support other Pay-in, Pay-out, or fintech/payment innovation initiatives as needed

What you’ll Need to Succeed: 

• Minimum 6-7 years of experience in Payments, Fintech, and knowledge/experience in the FX industry
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Degree in finance, economics, or a related field
• Good with numbers and able to build business cases and financial models
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

It’s Great if you Have: 

• 8-12 years of experience in launching, managing, or scaling products with an FX nature, B2C and B2B
• Background in FX trading (spot, forward, NDFs), with exposure to algorithmic or traditional methods
• Strong understanding of G-7 and G-20 FX markets; experience with exotic currencies
• Familiarity with data tools or programming
• MBA (preferred but not mandatory)
