This role is BANGKOK-BASED, RELOCATION PROVIDED.
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Designer to drive our conceptual and design efforts at Agoda. This role requires a seasoned creative leader with a proven track record of delivering innovative and strategic marketing solutions across large-scale brand campaigns, event marketing, and e-commerce brand expressions. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in a creative agency or in-house setting, with deep expertise in brand development, consumer marketing, and team leadership. You will be responsible for elevating creative quality, driving brand narratives, and collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver business results and industry recognition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptual development and execution: Work with a team of graphic designers, motion designers, video editors, and copywriters to develop compelling brand and social campaigns. Manage the creative process from ideation to final execution, ensuring cohesive brand narratives and visually compelling storytelling that resonate with target audiences. Ensure alignment with project goals, brand guidelines, and creative briefs.
- Drive creative excellence across mediums: Secure the creative quality of work across large brand campaigns, event marketing materials, and e-commerce assets (emails, banners, and performance marketing), ensuring all work adheres to brand standards and drives consumer engagement.
- Provide actionable feedback: Deliver clear, constructive, and insightful feedback to teams across all creative formats (e.g., graphic design, motion graphics, video, social media) to drive improvement and push creative boundaries.
- Collaborate across teams: Partner closely with account, brand, and marketing teams to ensure consistent storytelling and messaging across all channels, including traditional media, digital platforms, and e-commerce touchpoints.
- Hands-on creative direction: Actively participate in design work, ensuring the highest quality output while efficiently managing time and resources. Be a hands-on leader in crafting both large-scale brand initiatives and smaller performance-driven assets.
- Oversee the production process: Manage the production lifecycle of campaigns across all stages, ensuring seamless execution for large brand initiatives, event marketing materials, and e-commerce brand expressions.
- Innovate using AI design tools: Leverage AI-powered design and motion tools to enhance the creative process, improving both efficiency and the quality of outputs for large-scale campaigns, events, and e-commerce assets.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in a creative agency or in-house agency setting
- Experience in multi-geographies and multicultural environments: Proven ability to adapt creative strategies for diverse cultural contexts and international markets, ensuring consistency across all regions.
- Equally versed in large brand campaigns, event marketing, and e-commerce expressions: Demonstrated success in developing both large-scale brand campaigns and smaller, performance-focused assets like emails, banners, and digital ads.
- Knowledge of AI design and motion tools: Experience using AI-powered design tools to streamline processes and drive creative innovation.
- Experience in e-commerce environments: Proven ability to create impactful e-commerce strategies and assets that drive engagement and conversions.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Advanced skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (CS5 or above), with a strong grasp of current design trends and motion tools.
- Conceptual thinker and hands-on executor: Ability to think big-picture while remaining detail-oriented, with the willingness to take a hands-on approach when needed.
- Experience in motion design tools: Such as After Effects or similar programs to enhance creative capabilities in video, motion graphics, and animation considered a plus.
- Proven portfolio of relevant works must be included with application.
