The Opportunity

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Operations Specialist/Senior Specialist to join our Operations Excellence team at Agoda Flight. In this role, you will support our commercial growth by analyzing data, understanding our systems, and addressing any issues that hinder our progress. You will be part of a team that serves as the backbone for our Agoda Flight. This person will work closely with various internal functions including Product, Tech, Commercial, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure that our foundational processes, systems, and SOPs run smoothly and efficiently.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Understand, optimize, and maintain our procedures, SOPs and systems to ensure efficient operation and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Take ownership to analyze data and identify operational issues that impacting our suppliers and commercial performance.
  • Convert insights into actions and reliably execute improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Tech, Commercial, Finance, Customer Service) to streamline processes and support commercial initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on operational performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new challenges, contributing to the team’s overall success.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field.
  • Knowledge in SQL. Experience in quickly identifying system bugs, process issues, and develop/launch innovative solutions to fix problems at root cause.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Demonstrate good commercial sense and business acumen.
  • Good understanding of operational systems and processes.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail with a bias for actions and execution
  • Proactive problem-solver with a growth mindset.
  • Eager to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

It’s great if you have: Python, or willingness to invest time to learn.
