Get To Know Our Team 

The Supply department is the B2B part within the Agoda organization that links with our external partners to ensure the supply of accommodation, flights and activities. Within Supply the ‘Strategic Projects Management’ team has been formed to raise the standards of project management across the entire department, lead the way by managing the largest and most impactful projects, develop a governance framework by which to plan, run and report all significant projects going forward and ensure the upskilling of everyone involved in project work. 

In This Role, You’ll Get To 

  • Support the Strategic Project Management team as well as the Supply senior leadership team in efficient operations & decision-making. 
  • Organize and prepare all large-audience meetings across all Supply projects (scheduling, researching necessary data, collecting & quality-checking input to meeting decks, identify key updates and prepare discussion memos), review the current set-up and propose improvements. 
  • Assist senior leadership in tracking and visualizing progress by ensuring summary reporting on KPI and OKR across all Supply initiatives, including preparing slide decks. 
  • Conduct data analysis and business analysis research using various Business Intelligence and ticketing tools to support the project managers. Become an expert in a number of those tools and propose standards going forward. 
  • Research best practices for methods and tools used across the Agoda organization for topics such as project management, requirements engineering and testing methodology. 
  • Find ways to standardize and improve both meeting management, project reporting and documentation system. Where possible, help building templates, automations, and AI tools to increase the efficiency of our project management and project reporting. 
  • Be the go-to person that everyone in Supply turns to when they are looking for trustworthy information about our projects. 
  • Support project managers in project reporting, the preparation of business cases and the preparation of steering committees as needed. 

What You’ll Need to Succeed (Must Have) 

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree, ideally in a business or quantitative subject (e.g. computer science, mathematics, engineering, science, economics or finance). 
  • 1-3 years of experience working as a project assistant, business analyst or project manager, preferably in a Business, Technology or Online environment. 
  • A high level of proficiency with the MS Office Suite, especially in the preparation of professional slide decks and the efficient management of large volumes of tasks and emails. 
  • A basic understanding of project management methodology.
  • Strong organizational skills along with the demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and balance the demands of many high-level stakeholders under time pressure.
  • An agile self-starter mentality and the ability to learn fast, react quickly and find a way to organize yourself and others in a less structured, fast-paced environment.
  • The interpersonal skills to interact professionally with stakeholders at Director level and above.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (in English), including the ability to report project updates clearly and succinctly to different levels of the management hierarchy.
  • The drive, speed and creativity to not only execute given tasks, but proactively come up with your own ideas and create improvements for everyone.
  • The willingness to learn about project management, data manipulation and visualization tools and to propose the best ways of working with them. 

It’s Great if You Have (Good to Have) 

  • Analytical and quantitative skills that allow you to generate hypotheses and insights based on the analyses of large datasets using our various databases and BI tools. 
  • Some experience managing projects or parts thereof yourself. 
  • Experience with project management tools (such as MS project, Jira, Smartsheets, or similar). 
  • Experience in the hotel or OTA industry. 
  • Experience in working with senior stakeholders.
