2025 is a momentous year for Agoda, as it marks our milestone 20th birthday! And what better way to mark the occasion than with AgodaFest, our showstopping annual staff party? As part of our hybrid work model, AgodaFest 2025 provided the ultimate opportunity for Agodans across all teams to connect in person and celebrate together.
This year’s theme, Island Glow, is a special nod to Agoda’s founding history in Phuket, Thailand, bringing sandy shores and good vibes to every office as teams came together to toast two decades of achievements and unforgettable memories.
With more excitement than ever before, each of our global offices put its own spin on the festivities, from dazzling performances to island-inspired games. Here’s how our teams celebrated this landmark year.
Malaysia
More than 1,000 Agodans came together for AgodaFest Malaysia. The music was top-notch, featuring electrifying live performances by the Elate Band and Blink, and a special appearance by celebrity singer Yazmin Aziz, who had everyone singing along. When it came to activities, Agodans dove into tropical fun with classic limbo contests, a volleyball toss station, face painting, and photo booths. Everyone had their fingers crossed for the lucky draw, where the winners came home with luxurious travel vouchers.
Thailand
Bangkok transformed into a tropical paradise for AgodaFest 2025, delivering an unforgettable night of music, games, and global flavors, welcoming over 3,500 Agodans based in our Global Operations Center. The energy was electric, with performances by Singto Numchok and a lineup of talented DJs setting the stage, while live bands kept the crowd dancing all night.
Agodans battled in limbo showdowns, rode the surf machine, showed off their creativity at the face painting stations, and crossed their fingers for the lucky draw. The silent disco and karaoke stage kept the party going, with team members belting hits between bites from an impressive spread of international cuisines.
Hungary
In Hungary, our team traded the Danube for the tropics, complete with a DJ and live music. Agodans struck a pose at the photo booth, tested their skills with the Cashbox game, and enjoyed a prize draw, where the lucky winners came away with luxurious hotel vouchers.
Philippines
The Philippines team brought the heat with an incredible showcase of homegrown Agoda talent! The night kicked off with a vibrant song and dance opening number by Jonica Alacon and Gail Umali, followed by soulful performances from Benny Soriano and Gypsy Machacon. The crowd was treated to a hilarious monologue by Anne Ella and Mariella Cuenco, proving our Agodans are as witty as they are hardworking. Between performances, teams cooled off with swimming, belted out tunes at karaoke, and competed in lively games and raffles.
Australia
Our Agoda Australia team found their glow at a wine tasting experience in Hunter Valley. They enjoyed delicious wines while taking in the picturesque vineyard views, putting an elegant twist on our annual celebrations.
Singapore
In Singapore, our Agodans were joined by Agoda’s CEO Omri Morgenshtern for a truly tropical celebration. They tested their skills at the claw machine, showed off their putting prowess at mini golf, snapped fun memories at the photo booth, and danced all night long to a live band. The emcees kept the energy high with hilarious games like tic-tac-toe cup and balloon stacker. The biggest excitement came when one lucky winner took home the ultimate prize: a brand-new iPhone 16 Pro!
Cambodia
The Agoda Cambodia team celebrated in style with a Japanese omakase dinner, for an intimate evening of masterfully prepared sushi and team camaraderie.
South Korea
South Korea‘s AgodaFest 2025 festivities kicked off with a live performance by the Jay Kim Band, setting the stage for a night of tropical fun. Agodans battled it out with team games, Kahoot quizzes, and the “First Impression: Match It!” networking challenge. Creativity shone through the Best Dressed contest, and everyone snapped memories at three themed photo zones and retro photo booths. Face painting and tattoo stations added colorful energy throughout the night, building excitement for the climactic lucky draw.
Taiwan
The Agoda Taiwan team embraced the ultimate chill island vibe with a BBQ party under the stars. Between sizzling skewers, Agodans showed off their vocal chops at karaoke and bonded over fun games.
Japan
Agoda Japan kept things sunny with a colorful island celebration. Agodans posed at the photo booth, got creative with a Polaroid camera activity, and showed off their tropical looks in the Best Dresser competition. The night’s lucky draw had everyone hoping to win Apple Watches and iPads: the perfect tech upgrade!
India
AgodaFest India brought the tropical vibes with a fantastic live performance by Dhun that had everyone dancing! Between the music, competitive games, and vibrant face painting stations, our Gurugram and Mumbai teams proved nobody throws a party quite like Agoda. Agoda’s leaders even made an appearance, including our CEO Omri and CTO Idan Zalzberg!
