Localization Manager (Bangkok-based)

We're looking for a manager to join our languages team at Agoda's Bangkok offices, building one of the world's best localized travel sites.

As a Manager of Localization team, you will overview translation operations, build and manage a team of linguists and project managers, support product teams with localization requirements, run A/B tests on translations to provide a native language experience for users on all platforms.

This position is based in Bangkok, Thailand and open to candidates worldwide. We will assist you with visa and relocation package, ensuring a smooth transition to working and living in Bangkok.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and lead our internal localization team
  • Drive high quality output from localization vendors & freelancers
  • Set and own localization KPIs
  • Prioritize requests, build translation roadmaps, track execution
  • Collect and monitor data on cost, turnaround times and quality
  • Run and analyze A/B tests on translations to improve language experience
  • Develop and run language quality assessment projects
  • Support product managers with linguistic requirements, advise on best practices
  • Follow and evaluate new technologies
  • Continuously analyze and improve our translation processes / workflows and provide
  • Hire and develop stars

 Experience required:

  • At least 2 years experience managing localization teams / projects
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken
  • Strong communication skills
  • SQL expertise is a plus
