Assessment

Our dedicated team will review your application and if selected, you will go through a series of tests depending on the role you applied for. Firstly, you will meet again with the recruiter to test your language skills. If you’re selected, you will then have to complete a behavioral assessment, as well as coding test for tech roles, and a numerical one for non-tech roles.

Interview

Lastly, selected candidates will be invited to 2 virtual meetings with our recruiters and members of the team for the last stage of the hiring process. Here, we will try to get to know you more and evaluate your technical and behavioral skills, we will ask you further questions, and you should too! This is your chance to share your curiosities and learn more about Agoda.

Is the internship paid?

Yes, you will receive paid compensation when joining our Summer Internships Program.

When is the deadline for applying to the Summer Internships Program?

There is no set deadline. Applications are open until we find the right candidates to fill the open roles.

Am I eligible for the Summer Internships program?

To be eligible, you must be of Thai nationality, and you must be enrolled as a student during the entire length of the internship program. You can be based outside of Thailand, if you hold a Thai ID. For non-Thai citizens, you are eligible if you are enrolled full-time in a Thai university during the entire length of the program.

Can I apply to multiple roles at the same time?

Yes, to increase your chances you may apply to various roles, based on your background, skills and aspirations. Our team might also consider roles in other teams for you, if they think you would be a good fit.We would recommend you to apply with maximum 3 roles .

How long does the hiring process last?

From the moment you submit your resume to the final interview, the process lasts around 4 to 5 weeks.

In which language will the hiring process be?

All interviews are held in English. Agoda is a global company, and we use English as our business language. Good understanding and communication skills are expected.

The working culture at Agoda is fun and exciting, and everyone is incredibly friendly and open to helping one another. This experience was rounded out by the excellent guidance and mentorship from my manager and team members. They encouraged me to reflect on my daily experiences to make the most of my learning journey and were very patient in teaching me new skills.

The mentorship I received was invaluable. Though I started without experience in CRM tools, I was taught everything from the basics to an intermediate level, including managing tickets and creating workflows. Agoda’s culture is fast-paced yet flexible. The people here are helpful and strive to get things done quickly, but you’re trusted to manage your time.

This internship broadened my perspective as a Software Engineer; it was not just about coding but about teamwork in a diverse environment. As part of the SEO team, I worked on improving our website’s performance and built a tool to streamline our processes. I learned new programming languages and discovered that understanding how code is structured makes it easier to pick up new technologies. The mentorship I received was outstanding, with my supervisor and senior team members always ready to help and guide me. Lastly, I loved the diversity at Agoda, as it brought fresh ideas and perspectives, enriching my experience and helping me see the world differently.

I was assigned to work on the Payment Front-end Analytics Dashboard, a tool that enables the Payment team to track bookings efficiently and identify any unusual activities in the payment booking form. This allowed me to gain invaluable experience in data analytics, data warehousing, and data visualization, skills that I had never explored before in the tech field. I was fortunate to have an incredibly supportive group of colleagues who guided me through the process and helped shape my project for the better.
