Growth and Accelerator is a team of creative entrepreneurs that develop solutions for Agoda’s emerging and high-growth accommodation partners. Members of our team are empowered and supported to grow their market(s) or accounts. We develop win-win relationships and leverage Agoda’s unique accommodations portfolio and tech solutions to bring our partners the advantages they seek. Utilizing our strong brand and resources, we roll out new products to increase the visibility of Agoda, introduce more travelers to our great products and services and deliver significant revenues to the overall business.

Summary:

We’re looking for a specialist / senior specialist for Growth and Accelerator central team, to design and execute strategic and operational initiatives that create both growth and efficiency across the Growth and Accelerator function. In this role, you will work directly with multiple stakeholders, including supply leadership and various cross-functional departments to successfully implement key initiatives. You will impact Agoda’s business through exploring new business opportunities, analyzing complex scaling challenges, and improve existing operations. We’re looking for talented people who think critically,  learn from mistakes, and adapt quickly. This position offers high visibility with supply management and with other departments within the company.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Strategy definition:  
    • Participate along with leadership team in the creation of the function’s strategy and be responsible for its execution globally. 
  • Project Management: 
    • Roll out agreed initiatives globally, engaging with cross functional teams with various seniority level
    • Come up with new initiatives to improve the function performance, plan milestones and deliverables, allocate tasks, manage stakeholders, measure performance and deliver results impacting business
  • Analytics
    • Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of current operations
    • Make data-backed recommendations for improvements on current function operating model, or local initiatives to central stakeholders as department head or product team.
  • Execution
    • Ensure the daily operations of the function are running smoothly, being the first point of escalation for local matters
    • Support local country teams, help to answer their questions, provide them with actionable insights
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Collaborate closely with each of the country teams to understand their needs and objectives, serving both the countries interest as well as keeping the central function operating model intact
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, support, operations or central teams, to ensure alignment and overall business strategies.

What you’ll Need to Succeed:

  • More than 3+ years of professional experience
  • Capacity to do project management and project delivery between stakeholders
  • Understanding of business development functions and sales teams mindsets. 
  • Strong numerical & analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience using technical tools eg. SQL, Tableau, Microsoft Excel is a plus.
  • Ability to successfully communicate proposals to potential partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker, management consulting experience highly valued
  • Experience in consulting/e-commerce business preferred
  • MBA from a well-known institution preferred.
