The Opportunity: 

This role mainly focuses on explore accounting, tax, finance system and finance knowledge in several countries. You must work with accounting agencies, internal and external auditors in the countries that the companies set up. You will also have a chance to coordinate with Booking Holdings and other brands and be exposed to international accounting and finance.  You will get chances to learn about our products, businesses, workflows and be a part that makes the projects/initiatives s happen, also connect with other departments. Your role could involve the implementation of a finance transformation, optimization, and design data flow and workflow for new projects/initiatives. 

In this Role, you’ll get to:  

Financial Accounts

  • Lead teams to provide report and analyze the company’s financial performance to support management decision making. Motivate management accounting team to take further responsibility for accounts input and preparation processes.
  • Coordination with the various departments to ensure timely and accurate data is available for the preparation of financial information for internal and external reporting. 


  • Maintain the internal control environment in the Company’s operations that are in compliance with corporate policy, Anti-Corruption control and as well as SOX requirements etc. 
  • Identify and develop remediation plans for further potential process or control issues; Guides other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy; applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.


  • Understand key concepts of direct and indirect tax in foreign jurisdictions where the company has legal presence.
  • Coordinate with tax team to provide accurate information and calculation for the purpose of tax compliance in local and foreign jurisdictions.


  • Understand and assess the impact of Company’s initiatives and projects. Manage and implement Company’s initiatives and projects from finance and accounting perspective. This includes providing requirements, designing and performing UAT, designing new workflow, monitoring post-go-live processes, and troubleshooting. 
  • Identify and drive process and technology improvement opportunities. 
  • Manage team by maintaining a motivated, high-performing team, maintaining team morale, and driving the Controller Vision
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What you’ll Need to Succeed: 

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in finance or accounting
  • 12+ years of working experience including accounting and operations, risk & controls or finance functions with some experience at management level 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills
  • Solid analytical skills, critical thinking, problem-solving skills with initiative ideas
  • Dynamic and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment. 
  • Good command of both spoken and written English 
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills 
  • Skilled in presentation composition, communications technology including PowerPoint, and engaging, articulate audience presentations. 
  • Excellent computer proficiency such as MS Office
  • Technology knowledge related to Finance such as ERP, RPA, AI 

It’s Great If You Have: 

  • CPA or CFA
  • Knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools 
  • Accounting experience in online travel agency business
