The Opportunity: 

Head of Internal Control & Operations Excellence will get to be a part of Agoda’s Strategic Partnerships (SP) team, which drive partnership initiatives to scale and drive growth of 3 brands: Agoda, Booking.com and Rocketmiles.com. We’re looking for future leaders who think critically, test, learn from mistakes, and adapt quickly. 

This position is based in Bangkok, Thailand. 

In this Role, You’ll Get to: 

  • Manage a large team to elevate SP’s business operations to the next level, including designing and implementing internal control best practices, providing innovative solutions to continuously improve the design and operating effectiveness with a goal to find the optimum balance between control and speed 
  • Oversee the team to develop policies and procedures to ensure sound internal control of SP’s financial operations, including dispute and debt management, partner payments and reporting 
  • Lead the team to create a roadmap and build a holistic Salesforce CRM for Agoda, work with stakeholders to define business requirements, lead developers to build and optimize platform workflow to meet with the requirements 
  • Liaise among Agoda, Booking.com and Rocketmiles.com operation teams to ensure SP members can effectively serve a full suite of Agoda, Booking.com and Rocketmiles.com products to partners in the most efficient manner 

 What You’ll Need to Succeed: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative/numerical field such as engineering, finance, accounting or economics 
  • 9+ years of working experience in 
    • financial control or budgeting roles
    • team management 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 
  • Highly organized and comfortable with making prioritization decisions. Able to effectively keep track of moving parts across projects and adapt to new information and goals. 
  • Ability to lead change 
  • Capable of persuading and convincing senior leaders 

 It’s great if you have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance 
  • Experience with operations or process optimization 
  • Experience with CRM 
  • Exposure to travel industry  
  • Excellent command of SQL, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
