The Opportunity:

Payments, Credit Risk and Collections team within the finance organization is responsible for supporting Payment offerings, monitoring of Credit for partners and ensuring timely Collections for various product offerings from our partner properties. It works closely with various internal and external stakeholders to optimize and improve efficiency in all the related segments specified above.

This team is expanding, and we are looking for Chains –  Account Receivable Lead to be based out of Bangkok, Thailand. As part of this role, you would be working closely with our Key Chains (Big hotel groups) headquarters, chain properties and 3rd party payment partners wherever needed. You will work closely with internal stakeholders like the Key Chain global leads, Product function and other finance stakeholders such as Payment Operations, New Business Initiatives etc. on an ongoing basis.

This will be a potential team management role in future.

Job Description

  • Track the billing & reporting process to ensure successful completion in accordance with the invoice cycle for different chains
  • Liaise with other departments to resolve any issues and exceptions which may impact timely payments of invoices i.e. Finance operations, KA leads, Customer Service functions etc.
  • Build relationships with other departments to ensure an integrated approach to billing & develop scalable solutions for quicker onboarding of new partners
  • Interpret and quickly learn new processes & products getting assigned to the team, and set up requisite workflows
  • Work with bespoke systems & perform analysis to reduce delinquencies, customer queries etc.
  • Produce and analyze reports, making recommendations or highlighting areas for improvement to stakeholders
  • Create, implement, & maintain procedures and documentation for the billing process
  • Identify and specify processes that can be automated through system development and technical solutions
  • Assisting the development of enhanced billing functions
  • Gathering feedback and undertaking analytics for internal reporting
  • Maintain strong relationships with Third Party Intermediaries (TPI’s)
  • Liaising with key customer contacts
  • Work on special projects alongside fellow Senior Management
  • Approach challenges in a passionate, innovative, and decisive manner

Qualifications

  • Substantial knowledge of the Accounts Receivable function & related work experience of minimum 4 years.
  • Ability to communicate and engage with internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Good project management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and conceptualize requirements.
  • Able to communicate to senior leaders within the business
  • Able to balance change v maintaining BAU
  • Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
  • Must be extremely confident, proactive and take personal ownership of task completions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency with SQL and Tableau would be an added advantage.
  • Should be a team-player and open to working cordially with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • You have an educational background in accountancy or finance
  • This role would be based out of Bangkok, Thailand.
