That is why the Market Management team of Priceline-Agoda’s Global Partner Services specializes in strategic account management. We serve as consultants, offering strategic advice on how best to excel on both Priceline’s and Agoda’s commercial platforms. We are direct contributors to what makes both companies market leaders; we understand accommodation needs and offer innovative solutions. From Bangkok to New York and beyond, the Agoda team has footprints in over 50 locations around the world. The Opportunity:
A National Accounts, Manager owns a portfolio of national accounts consisting of chains and independent accommodation providers that are dispersed across North America. They will be responsible for Priceline/Agoda growth and driving successful revenue production strategies at scale.
Additionally, the National Accounts, Senior Manager is expected accommodation partner pricing, ensure content competitiveness and identify and secure potential sources of supply to satisfy consumer demand on both Priceline.com and Agoda.com storefronts. National Accounts, Manager must utilize their working knowledge in order to convincingly explain the strategic benefits of the Priceline and Agoda programs at scale.
In this Role, you’ll get to:
- Build both short-term and long-term action plans for assigned national account portfolio, including increasing production and participation at scale.
- Show your passion in experimenting with inventive strategies to strengthen account revenue contribution.
- Participate in project management for new, innovative initiatives consisting of new revenue generating strategies and building out experiments from ideation to execution
- Develop and implement creative growth plans for partners by working collaboratively with multiple levels of organization
- Confidently present to partners and represent Priceline and Agoda at a national level when requested by partners to attend trade shows, webinars, and team meetings.
- Suggest production solutions, based on data, to maximize Priceline and Agoda accommodation availability, content competitiveness and business growth at scale for national accounts
- Continually present recommendations using a consultative approach to optimize national account conversion to mid-tier influencers.
- Formulate project ideas, determine where opportunity exists and implement new strategies
- Work in a data-driven environment
- Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to drive business growth for each national account.
- Use out-of-the-box thinking to develop and implement solutions to unique challenges
- Manage regular weekly/monthly supplier and internal reports
- Show proficiency in analyzing partner data to find solutions and opportunities for scalable growth. All decisions need to be driven by data, both externally and internally.
What you’ll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, in any relevant field
- At least 5 years of experience in travel or sales industry, OTA channels preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal skills & ability to influence external / internal stakeholders
- Success in acquiring, mentoring & building long term customer relationships
- Ability to creatively “think on the fly” when negotiating with hotel partners
- A team player with a professional “get it done” attitude and work ethic
- Strong prioritization and planning skills; must be comfortable making trade-offs vs. trying to get it all done
- Strong strategic and data analysis skills
- Curiosity and an experimentation mindset
- Solution-oriented
- Comfortable in two-way feedback culture
